| Anne and John Frey Scholarship | Four awards of $1000 will be given. To qualify, a student must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0. Preference will be given to sophomores in either biology or chemistry majors. Recipients are selected by the Dean's Scholarship Review Committee. |
| Arnold Lund Microbiology Scholarship | One award of $1000 will be given to a student majoring in biology, with an emphasis in microbiology. |
| Babe and Chuck Pennington Botany Scholarship | One award of $1000 will be given to a biology major with an emphasis in plant science. |
| Biology Department Scholarship | Four awards of $1000 will be given. All biology majors will be considered, including biotechnology, environmental science, food science technology, life science (teaching), medical technology, and toxicology. |
| Biotechnology Scholarship | Two awards of $1000 will be given to biotechnology majors. |
| College of Science, Engineering and Technology Scholarship | At least ten awards ranging from $500 to $1000 will be given. To qualify, a student must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above, have completed at least two full semesters at Minnesota State, Mankato, and be declared a major in the college or in a pre-professional major with the college. Recipients are selected by the Dean's Scholarship Review Committee. |
| Davisco Food Science Technology Scholarship | One award of $2500 will be given to a declared major who is majoring in food science technology. Cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 is required. First consideration will be given to applicants who have not previously received a departmental scholarship. |
| Dean and Maxine Turner Scholarship | One award of $1000 will be given. To qualify, a student must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher and be enrolled in any major in the college or in a pre-professional major associated with the college. Preference will be given to students who will be seniors in the fall. Recipients are selected by the Dean's Scholarship Review Committee. |
| Donald E. Brinkman Biology Scholarship | One award of $1000 is available for biology majors who have a genetics or molecular biology emphasis. |
| Jon Choe Memorial Scholarship | One award of $1000 will be given. Preference is given to biology majors who have a plant science emphasis. |
| Mary and Clifford Hendrickson Scholarship | Two $500 awards are available. To qualify, a student must be a declared major in the College of SET and have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0. Recipients are selected by the Dean's Scholarship Review Committee. |
| Stein Scholarship | One award of $1000 will be given. To qualify, a student must have a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher, must have completed at least one full semester at Minnesota State, Mankato, and be a declared math, science or pre-professional major in the college. Recipients are selected by the Dean's Scholarship Review Committee. |
| Turning Pointe Scholarship | One award of $1000 will be given to a single mother with dependent child(ren) who is a declared and accepted major in the College of SET with 32 credit hours completed. There is no minimum GPA requirement. Recipients are selected by the Dean's Scholarship Review Committee. A separate application is required. Details |
| Xcel Energy Scholarship | Five awards of $1000 are available. To qualify, a student must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher, have completed at least two full semesters at Minnesota State, Mankato, and be declared a major in the college or in a pre-professional major with the college. Recipients are selected by the Dean's Scholarship Review Committee. |
